CRC Self Help is committed to protecting the privacy of our residents and other individuals from whom we collect personal information. We adhere to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for the protection of information about our residents. These standards ensure that all personal information is properly collected, used only for the purposes for which it is collected, and is disposed of in a safe and timely manner when no longer required.

In situations where it is felt that sharing information would be of benefit to a resident, the resident is consulted by their Facilitative Housing Worker. The resident has the right to agree or to refuse to sign a Consent to Release Information form. If a consent form is signed by a resident, information is shared only as described in this form as agreed.
