House Fund
What is a house fund?
A house fund is a collection of money from each resident to cover the cost of tools, cleaning supplies and other items needed to maintain the common areas of the house. Residents pool their money together to buy items such as dish soap, light bulbs, a broom, toilet paper, etc.
Why is a house fund important?
When you are living on a fixed-income, it makes sense to share costs and cut costs whenever possible. Participating in a house fund is an opportunity to do just that. It is also another opportunity for residents to work together, support one another and achieve a common goal.
